Tecnoservice Mica tapes tapes are prepared with selected material of natural mica or synthetic compound, to which is added glass fiber cloth jointed through an appropriate silicone adhesive.

 

The tapes are used for binding power, control, instrumentation, signaling and optical fiber cable, when special characteristics of fire resistance are required or when other applications where high heat resistance is needed (up to 1100 ° C).

The Phlogopite is a chemical compound of Potassium (K) and magnesium (Mg) KMg3 (Al Si3 O10)

The maximum recommended operating temperature is 700 ° C - 800 ° C

 

- Synthetic mica tape

The plastic material (paper) is a compound of silica (SiO2)

The maximum recommended operating temperature is 1000 ° C - 1100 ° C

 

- Muscovite Mica Glass Tape 

The Muscovite is a chemical compound of Potassium (K) and Aluminum (Al) KAL2 (Al Si3 O10)

The maximum recommended operating temperature is 500-600 ° C

 

- Calcined Muscovite Mica Calcined Glass Tape 

The natural Muscovite is thermally treated before the junction with the ribbon of glass fiber

The maximum recommended operating temperature is 900-1000 ° C
